In this tutorial, I will show you how to insert graphics into your documents in Kingsoft Writer. There are two ways you can insert graphics into your documents; you can insert them using the clipart in Kingsoft Writer or you can insert them by using graphics from your computer. I will show you how to insert the graphics using both ways. Go ahead and open your Kingsoft Writer program and create a new document to work on.

Inserting Graphics into Kingsoft Writer using Clipart Gallery

First, I will show you how to insert the graphics using the clipart gallery that is built in to the Kingsoft Writer program. Click your mouse on the document and go to the top of your window and click Insert > Graphics > Artistic Clip. On the right side of your window, you will notice the panel that opened. In this panel is where all of the clipart is located.

In the clipart panel, you will see category box at the top of the panel. Click that box and it will drop down. Click the category of your choice and the clipart will appear in the box below that. You will have to browse through each category. There is no way to view all of the clipart in one panel.

Once you find a clipart you want to use, you can add it to your document. To add it, double click the clipart and it will be placed on your document. You can resize the clipart by clicking it and dragging the corners. Dragging the corners inward will make it smaller. Dragging the corners outward will make it larger. You can insert as much clipart as you want.

Inserting Graphics into Kingsoft Writer using your Graphics

Next, I will show you how to insert graphics using graphics on your computer. Go to the top of your Kingsoft Writer program and click Insert > Graphics > From File. When the box opens, browse through your folders and locate the graphic you want to use. Click the graphic and click the Open button. Your graphic will open in your document. To insert another graphic, repeat the above steps. You can also resize this graphic the same way you did the above graphics in the clipart gallery.

That’s how you insert graphics into the Kingsoft Writer documents. You can insert as many graphics as you want and size them to what you want. To delete a graphic, click the graphic and press the delete key on your keyboard. To replace a graphic you accidentally deleted, click Edit > Undo at the top of your window.
