Buying Our First Place

When we first bought this house we had no idea what we were doing. Neither of us had owned property before so we didn’t know the first thing about stuff like renovations or property taxes and whatnot – we were just really lost. Thankfully my husband’s father works in construction so he came over to help and boy did he give us a checklist of things to look into. We had to find out about custom cabinets and talk to the lawyer about the property line and even get some adt reviews to determine what kind of home alarm to buy. Anyway, it’s been a roller coaster ride of stuff since we’ve been here and I know we’re both just ready for it to be time to settle down and not have to worry about all the noise and dust and stuff from the construction but I know it will be better over time which is why we keep throwing money at the place. I love the thought of a nice clean house when we’re finished!
